My Blinkered Vision: Blake's 7

Words fail me. Frequently. Suffice it to say rather than going for the wrist-slitting psychosis of Golden Brown with the finale, I found something a little more upbeat. When you look at it, Blake's 7 is as much a black comedy as a sci-fi drama.

In the meantime, an exchange from TV tropes that made me like Miracle Day more than I did than before I read it... it even sounds like a YOA exchange...

Nigel: The Blessing takes a different form to different people. The message to Jilly was that she's a gigantic cunt.

Andrew: I for one second this notion.

Dave: Of course, this means the whole cast are gigantic cunts as well since they also— you know what? I third this notion.

Lol, love the Travelling Wilburies and particularly that song. A very good fit. Did you know that Roy Orbison died just a few days after recording it, and that was the last single he was on to get released? It seemed oddly fitting. But very nice editing - you're good at these. Also made me think of how put upon poor old Deeva is.

I also lol'ed at the TVTropes quote..

A man after my own heart.

A very good fit.
Blake even quotes the lyrics! It's amazing!

Wow.

It is strangely addictive, making these... I'm only limited by the files I have to play with...

You said it. When everyone else is shot, they're clearly thinking "Man, did NOT see that one coming!" whereas Deva is going "Oh, shit, that lady I confirmed was beyond reproach is a Federation spy and now she's shooting me on top of everything else..."

I like to think had Shapiro survived the last episode he would have made a similar point on screen...
